This is what happens when a laptop cord trips a 1 1/2 year old and you catch it in midair before it hits the ground. Thankfully the only casualty in this accident was the usb adapter to the wireless mouse! And thankfully the toddler was not even remotely injured or phased by this. She carried on with her day without a care in the world. :)

This is some of Ava' favorite little toys. She took this picture today. She is so funny because already she will pose her toys and things to take pictures of them. It is so cute watching her take pictures and pose the different things she is photographing. I am not sure if I should be surprised since she has had a camera on her since she entered into this world. :)

I have no idea what kind of flower this is right now. My aunt told me what it was when I was taking pictures, but I am not 100% on what she said it was. Maybe a Crocus? Or something like that? I have no idea really. It was pretty though! :)

Fortune cookie anyone?!?! There is this new Asian restaurant that opened up recently about 10 minutes from where I live and so thought we would give it a try. Yeah not so much! A little bland. Lots of options to chose from, but just not very good. I would give it a 3.5 maybe (and that is pushing it) on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 obviously being the best).

Happy Momma's Day! :) This is a photo of Ava with just some of her cousins. We were at a local park having a barbecue and these little ducks kept coming up to where we were sitting. I have been loving my George Foreman grill lately and really one day need to invest in a bit of a bigger one. I made this delicious chicken tonight for some grilled chicken sandwiches. I used a recipe from the magazine Taste of Home Chicken cookbook and it was delicious. I will definitely make this again! :)

Another stamp I had time to sit down and work on along the lines of the Disney Princess theme. This one would be Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Princess Aurora is Ava's favorite Disney Princess, with Cinderella coming in a close second. Again this image is Princess Anya from "The Greeting Farm" line of stamps.

Another Princess Anya image, from "The Greeting Farm" might I just add. I don't think I noted that in my last post of a Princess Anya image that I posted. This one is supposed to represent Cinderella, but I think I need a shade of blue that is just a couple shades lighter on the dress. I like the image though overall but I think I will try another color to see if I like it better.

One of my rubber stamps from the Magnolia line of stamps. I think "Tilda" is just an absolutely adorable little image. And how can one resist coloring her? Okay, so maybe she doesn't look all that exciting to color yet, but when you get out those inks and ink her up, and stamp away, you will want to color her then! :)

Ava loves this hand print cookie cutter I have. Have I ever actually used it to make cookies? NO! But today I decided to jazz up her PB&J and used the cookie cutter on her sandwich. Such a silly little thing to do, but Ava was over the moon about it. The little things that make kids happy! :)
